I know I have gone on and on about my newborn love affair and trust me, it’s real.  However, I tell every mom of a newborn that my absolute favorite age (as a mom) has been the 6-9 month age.  Personality is really shining through at this point, they figure out how to work those muscles to keep them sitting upright, and their chubbiness is oh, so yummy.  Put me in a room with 10 *sitters* all by myself and I swear I won’t cry.  It’s absolutely the BEST time to have baby photos taken.

Piper is right in the early stage of that milestone so I had to act quickly to catch her trying to sit before she toppled right over…but oh, how this baby girl has my heart.  I love watching her grow and change and I hate it all at the same time.  I dread the days when she has a say over whether I plant kisses all over her silky baby skin.

Feast your eyes on this beautiful chub of love.  She couldn’t be more perfect if she tried.
