20/365 | Daily Project

The weather here in Atlanta has been bizarre.  90 degrees one day and fall-like temperatures the next.  And rain, rain, rain all in-between.  What gives?

Regardless, my girl wants to be outside in whatever mother nature hands us.  Never mind that the hubs has been out of town for 2 weeks and the yard looks more like a rolling field.  So we go out.  And we walk up and down the dangerously sharp brick stairs…multiple times.  And we try to avoid hidden piles of dog poop.  Well, at least I do.  Cam, not so much.  I kept inspecting her feet every time she came back onto the concrete path but was a wee bit surprised and defeated when she came back to me saying “WOOK!”, staring down at her sticky fingers with dog poo in-between them.  Seriously?  So being the practical mom that I am, I pulled out the hose, pointed it her, and let her have it 🙂  It felt very Tommy Boy-in-the-gas-station to me and to be honest, she acted a little like Tommy Boy, squealing and laughing as I sprayed her hands, feet, and clothed tummy.  We managed to turn a smelly situation into a fun one…and I got my daily image in the aftermath.  I love the reflection and the way the water pools around her, drawing your eye to her wonder of the puddle and her own reflection 🙂

And because I was there and because well, I’m a mom with a camera, here’s a few more that I just love 🙂  Not a soul can say my child lacks in personality OR eyelashes.
