Today we watched another baby smash her first birthday cake…and we were lucky for candy on a stick to keep us un-jealous of all the cake-smashiness and singing-to going on.

And then I got excited when I watched my girl play with her first Barbies…$1/each from a consignment sale 🙂  Yay for thrifty play – she might never touch them again, after all!
