Life Update: Early Summer

Throwing it back a few months and finally went through photos from the summer… it’s CRAZY to me to look back at these photos from just 4 months ago and see BIG changes in all three of my kids.  Not only in how they look, but their personalities.  So many transformations happened over the summer and while it’s hard to see it in the moment, these certainly serve as a lens into the past to show how far they’ve come and grown over the summer season.

I may not have *all* the organizational hacks in the world but if there’s one thing I know, it’s photo storage!  If you need a little help in that arena, stay tuned for another post coming up with my tips and tricks for photo organization and storage so that even when you don’t have time to work on or print your photos, you know JUST where to find them when you need to!

Our childcare was touch-and-go over the summer.  We had some fabulous nannies that were helping us out while in school and also some sitters from our neighborhood that had various travel over the summer.  Many, many of our days were spent just surviving with our monkeys and sometimes that meant 5 movies a day and endless requests for snacks.

We grew and grew and grew and grew.  Learned to sit up.  Learned to crawl.  Potty trained.

There were outdoor picnics, popsicles, backyard playdates, pool days with neighbors.

We didn’t make it to our home-away-from-home (my parents’ home on the lake) nearly as often as we would have liked, but went enough to learn that Luke is a fan, Cami is becoming quite the little skier just like her mama at her age, and Liam conquered his fear of swimming in the lake.

We’re all ready for cooler weather and everything that fall brings, but looking back at these, it’s bittersweet that this season is coming to an end.
